I take back what I said about the World’s Most Expensive Sushi with gold and diamond here because USD$2,750 is nothing compared to these sushi that are priced at USD$4,300. I think there’s a competition going on about who can create the most expensive sushi in the world, unlike the previous one that was adorned by a diamond, these sushi are made with 12 years old Italian balsamic vinegar, Japanese rice (well, obviously!), 70 year old virgin water, Muscovado sugar, Norwegian pink salmon, foie gras, sea cucumber, genuine crabmeat, wild saffron and are garnished with 12 local Palawan pearls and 4.2carat African diamonds of VVS clarity! Now that’s a long list of ingredients! Unfortunately though, they did not list out what type of gold were used, but who cares, they’re going into your stomach anyway and I don’t think gold has any taste at all. Why do they keep making stuffs like these? Is it that much fun to swallow about RM3.5k a piece into your stomach?
