Life can at times really wear us down, which is why a vacation is always good for the soul but if you’re really short on time or cash, why not opt for a staycation? What I love about staycations is the fact that to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, you don’t have to travel too far out.
Thanks to the peeps at Agoda, I recently had the pleasure of having a staycation at Capri by Fraser and I was able to take my whole family with me because what is a staycation if you can’t be with the ones you love. Capri by Fraser promotes work and play all under one roof, so whether you want to take a break from life’s stress or you’ve got a work meeting to host, Capri by Fraser has the amenities for it all. Upon arriving, we were immediately greeted by their friendly and helpful staff.
Once we were done with the boring task of checking in, we were brought to our bedroom suite, which had everything we needed! The suite is equipped with everything you would want in a staycation venue. Thanks to the people at Capri by Fraser, we had ourselves a luxurious three-bedroom suite, which comes with a fully equipped kitchen (that means hob, oven and microwave), which you could cook up a storm if you wanted to. Everything about this suite was perfect, it had a six-seater dining table and a living room that could easily cater to 8 people.
The decor of this three-bedroom suite is kept clean and minimal with splashes of colour here and there. The master bedroom comes with its own bathroom and closet space that could fit your entire suitcase and more! If what you’re looking for during your staycation is to hibernate and simply relax then this suite is the perfect place for you.
I have to simply add that if you have a small family, or even a family of five, this comfortable and spacious three-bedroom suite will be more than enough for a staycation or even a long holiday. I especially loved how much room there was in each part of the suite. Capri by Fraser has designed the unit so well that it really doesn’t feel like a hotel but instead an apartment.
If you’re not up for cooking in your room or suite, or even head down to the mall with plenty of eatery spots next door to the hotel, you can always grab a bit or a meal at Caprilicious and Delite. Both places offer some delicious food that will have you wanting more and the staff are all so helpful, which makes the dining experience all the better.
And what is a staycation without lounging around by the pool. Guests at Capri by Fraser don’t just have themselves any ordinary pool because at this hotel and service residence, an infinity pool with a view awaits. If you’re not too scared of heights, you can go up to the floor above, only a staircase away, where there a bar and private jacuzzi waiting for you. Seriously, we were so impressed that we had to change into our swimming costumes right away and have a dip in the jacuzzi. Each jacuzzi unit has curtains that you can draw, which provides ultimate privacy and relaxation.
If you’ve got kids (like I do) and need a break, you’ll be pleased to know that there’s a game room where the kids can busy with games and books and there’s even an indoor playground for the little ones to have some fun in! Come on, how many hotels provide these kind of amenities? Not many that’s for sure, which is why Capri by Fraser makes the perfect spot to go to if you want a vacation away from home but not too far from home.
All in all, I found Capri by Fraser the perfect destination for a staycation especially for someone like me who lives outside of the city. Staying at Capri by Fraser really gave my family and I the vacation feel but it was situated close enough to everything that we could even head out and do some quick shopping if we wanted to, only to come back for more relaxation time!
