It’s hard to take someone seriously when all they do is take selfies (self-taken shots in front of the mirror, etc). You can pose with the most intimidating look in the world, but when someone sees your phone in your reflection, you know you’ve lost all form of respect.
But it’s okay if you’re just a regular Jane, taking selfies in her room when you’re bored. It’s a ‘thing’ now, so we don’t blame you. But what if you told you that policemen do it too? After all, they ARE just everyday people, right?
Coming across “Cop Selfies” is one way to get over the Monday trauma. Cop Selfies is a Tumblr page with self-portrait photos of police officers, and although their charmingly goofy, it’s really worth following if you reblog stuff on Tumblr.
But don’t make fun of them. They’re still officers of the law and they took an oath to protect, and document those awesome moments when they can.
