Ocean’s 8 is introducing an all-female line up with eight A-listers, and guess what, Cate Blanchett and Sandra Bullock are already onboard.
The other five actresses who are highly likely to join the pack are Anne Hathaway, Rihanna, Helena Bonham-Carter, Mindy Kaling and Awkwafina. The eighth member of the cast is yet to be confirmed, but we’re thinking it’s going to be a pleasant surprise!
Ocean’s 8 will be directed by Gary Ross (The Hunger Games), and produced by Ocean’s 11 director Steven Soderbergh. Ocean’s 8 is a spin-off of the Ocean’s 11 franchise, which starred George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Matt Damon, amongst others. Only this time, the cast will be a female-driven one, and we can’t wait to see it!
The film will begin shooting in October.
