I remember back when I was in school and the burning in Indonesia polluted our country, the driver that I carpooled with joked how the face masks people wear looks like a bra, but it seems like this may not be a joke now. Dr. Elena Bodnar, a woman who experienced the Chernobyl nuclear plant disaster in 1986 first hand, has created an Emergency Bra that can be separated into two pieces in case of emergency and used as a face mask! The mask is designed with paddings that can filter out particles that are found to be as harmful as radiation in Chernobyl. Dr. Elena Bodnar even stated how we women have two breasts so we can save two lives (I guess including ourselves) in case of an emergency. The bras will commercially be available at the MIT Museum in Cambridge on 28 September 2010 in 32B to 40C in bold red color. Right, but before any disaster strikes, I wonder how men are going to make fun of us women, asking us to take out our bras and such for them to wear.
