Last week, Malaysia’s leading chocolate brand, Cadbury Dairy Milk launched a brand new campaign looking for the nation’s favourite Cadbury Dairy Milk flavour fronted by some popular local celebrities such as Diana Danielle, Farid Kamil, Carmen Soo, Soo Wincci, Gan Mei Yan, Jeff Chin, Joe Flizzow, Nur Fazura and Kuah Jenhan.
These well-known personalities shared joyful stories about their favourite Cadbury Dairy Milk flavours at the event, each championing their favourite to be picked as Malaysia’s most preferred flavour. Throughout the next two weeks, these celebrities will update their followers on what they’re getting up to with their favourite flavours and their current standing in the polls. By following them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, fans of these celebrities will also be presented with a few surprises along the way.
“The first time I had Cadbury Dairy Milk was when I was a little girl. Mum would give me a bar when I did well in my exams and throughout my childhood it was something I really looked forward to because it tasted so good and made me happy. Till today each bite puts a smile on my face and joy in my steps. Over the years I’ve developed a liking for its Hazelnut flavour because of the smooth and creamy chocolate goodness on the outside and crunchy surprise inside,” said Carmen Soo at the launch of the campaign.
Renowned rap artist and producer Joe Flizzow also talked about his love for his favourite flavour and mentioned, “Roast Almond has a uniqueness that stands out from the rest, just like me. The smoky flavour and crunchiness makes each bite a special one. I want everyone out there to give it a try and you will soon know why it should be crowned Malaysia’s favourite.”
This campaign by Cadbury Dairy Milk is also a celebration in line with their refreshed branding initiative. From the logo of the pouring of milk into a glass and the purple wrapping Malaysians are highly familiar with, Cadbury Dairy Milk presents a contemporary take on their identity and continues to bring joy to Malaysians with their latest design which showcases fun and imaginative icons bringing the taste to life and giving each variant a distinctive personality.
