In conjunction with the annual October Pink Ribbon Month, Xixili recently organized a Pink Wellness Get Together Party under its Love My Life community project. The project aims to empower women to take charge of their own well-being and breast health.
The Pink Wellness Party was planned with a day’s worth of carousel activities just for the girls. The ladies enjoyed Do-It-Yourself (DIY) workshops, sharing forums that focused on facial skincare by Murad and body spa wellness.
Hosted at a Balinese style spa retreat in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, the lucky ladies were treated to a half an hour therapeutic head and shoulder massage, which was a holistic experience for all the five senses. The participants were invited to share their thoughts with Xixili in an intimate sharing session about lingerie fit, fashion and dilemmas. Finally, they had an educational session on breast self-examination and care conducted by nurses from the Breast Cancer Welfare Association (BCWA).
The main sponsor for the event was Murad, a skincare brand originating from the United States. The Murad skincare educational trainers facilitated interactive facial skincare workshops to the delight of the ladies. Other sponsors included Golden Screen Cinemas and Hard Rock Hotel Penang.
Lucky draw prizes were also awarded to seven winners and the prizes included GSC Premier Movie Tickets, Murad skincare products, Xixili shopping vouchers and a grand prize of a two days one night stay at Hard Rock Hotel Penang, coupled with a RM300 Xixili shopping voucher.
Through the last decade, Xixili has been a passionate driver of breast cancer awareness and have championed it through its Xixili Love My Life community project, whereby various promotions, activities and events are hosted.
Xixili Pink Tagged Bra is a current promotion running from 1st October – 26th October 2014. Whenever you buy yourself a Xixili pink–tagged bra, you will do your part for the community as partial proceeds of the sale will be donated to the Breast Cancer Association (BCWA). For every pink–tagged bra sold, RM3 will be channelled to BCWA.
Xixili Love My Life community project runs public programs all year round to raise awareness towards breast cancer and works to empower ladies to take a more active role towards taking better care of themselves. One of the signature campaigns hosted under the Love My Life community project is BSE I have ü it. This campaign educates, encourages and reminds women to perform their monthly breast self-examination (BSE) for early detection of breast cancer.
