Claire Warner’s photo of her left breast has over 25,000 shares on Facebook, and for all the right reasons.

On the photo of her left breast, Claire Warner revealed a purplish dimple that is actually a subtle sign of breast cancer. Claire shared the photo because it is something that you can easily miss.

“This is a picture of my left boob,” Warner wrote under the photo. “The small purplish bruise is where I had a biopsy taken. The minuscule dimple up and to the left of it is a rare and little-known symptom of breast cancer.” She was lucky that she spotted the symptom exceptionally early, and only because another friend had shared a similar photo.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the most common symptom is a lump or a mass in the breast, but a dimple or puckering on the breast is also a sign, and it is best to get it checked.

Warner also urges all Facebook users to share the post, it might just save someone’s life. Overwhelmed by the amount of support, messages, and questions, she has even created a Twitter account for her left boob – @OfNoSpecialType, and already has almost 300 followers. Go check it out and drop her a message. Also, go get yourself checked!
