Whoa, new sneakers being released all at once and our bank accounts are in pain! Especially after setting sight on the brand new Nike LunarEpic Flyknit.
Taking a couple of inspirations from Nike’s Magista that allows the foot, ankle and lower leg to work together for a fluid movement. Nike’s running designers were set out to create a shoe that fit a runner’s key needs.
The breathable one-piece Nike Flyknit is engineered with different densities directly into the knit for precise support to fit perfectly at the arch, heel and forefoot while the mid-height collar was added to facilitate lockdown and Nike Flywire cables were knitted for strength and a close, dynamic fit.
The midsole of this new LunarEpic Flyknit has a new dual-injection technology. Using heat, instead of glue, they fused two foams into one piece that still features traditional Lunarlon construction. Science blows everyone’s minds doesn’t it? A rubber-free outsole with laser-siped geometric pistons inspired by pressure maps of the foot completes the footwear.
