Disney star Selena Gomez feels that she is in no hurry to date anyone and thinks it takes a long time to find the “perfect” man, and for her it takes 1,000 dates.
“I figure that you will have about 1,000 dates until you get to your perfect guy,” the actress remarked.
With exes including Nick Jonas and “Twilight” star Taylor Lautner, this 18-year-old beauty says she has not met a guy she liked for a long time, reports femalefirst.
“Unfortunately, I haven’t been on a date in over six months. In hindsight, it doesn’t really seem that long between dates. The truth is I haven’t met anyone. But I’m young, I don’t need to have a boyfriend right now,” she said.
The actress says she understands the pain of unrequited love.
“Any crush or relationship is always a big ordeal. To get that one boy to like you and then if he doesn’t feels like the end of the world,” Selena said.
Well, Selena, you are still young and beautiful and I am sure there are a string of admirers that are waiting to date you. I agree that unrequited love is hard but once you have met the right guy, even after a thousand dates, it will be worth it all.
